So basically Valve is suing VU, who is suing Valve, and VU wants to work with Valve on future projects. Sound's like a divorce is in order boys....)-|

And to think that VU is struggling financially.

this comming from the Whopper mouth of Gbe newell dosent surprise me. I wouldnt Trust that guy as far as I could throw him, which in his case wouldnt be to far.

In court filings, attorneys for Sierra/VUG allege that Gabe Newell, founder and managing director of Valve, conveyed "misleading half-truth[s]" to them, and that various ensuing conversations between Newell and Sierra/VUG executives were colored with "misrepresentations and concealment." Valve's marketing director Doug Lombardi is also described as having made "false representations" to Sierra/VUG execs.

I sometimes forget that Gabe and friends were nobodys until Half-life. It would appear they signed a bad deal, and are now fussing to get out of it. Good luck with that.

VU have always had a reputation as being rather terrible as a publisher, Eidos (which looks to be going belly up soon) and possibly Activision aside, VU/Sierra have the most impressive, not to mention large, stable of developers on their books. However they look to be the masters of mismanagment, just look at how many times theyve gone bust and been bought out in the last, what, five years.

As such i wouldnt be much suprised or against Valve for wanting to break ties, indeed, beign the cynic that i am, i always felt VU would drag heels on the release of the title anyways for a christmas release and maximum sales coverage anyways regardless of when the game was doen or not.

How many light years old are you anyways?

My dad was a Virgo...

I say was because he passed away at the age of 78 about 16 years ago... My mom passed away at the age of 53( breast cancer) in 1978... That makes me an old man sorts....

Know just what you mean about lack of sleep...

I stay up sometimes all the way till 8am and longer sometimes playing BF 1942 ...DC or just messing around on the internet..

Have just been playing some more of D 3 and I think I made good progress tonight( or should we say morning....)

Am back in the central processing looking for Sarge .....

This game is so good..( repetitve but ..?) it just keeps going on and on... definitely worth everybody gettting at some point even if they do not prefer this type of game....

All I know it that my wife is going to Mexico with her girlfriends for 2 weeks at the beginning of NOV, and HL2 better be out to entertain me by then.
