I uninstalled a program (Presentations in WordPerfect Suite 8) using Symantec Clean Sweep. Now when I bootup I get
the following error message:
"Missing Shortcut: Windows is searching for PRWIN8.EXE. To locate the file yourself click browse."
This is followed by a second error message:
"Problem with Shortcut: The item PRWIN8.EXE that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved. The nearest match based on size, date, and type is C:\COREL\SUITE8\PROGRAMS\UA80.EXE. Do you want this shortcut to point to this item?"
If I then click on YES the error message disappears and everything goes back to normal.

PRWIN8.EXE is the file that activates the Presentations Program

My question is how do I get rid of the error messages?

Older versions of CleanSweep did good job of cleaning up these things, maybe Symantec made changes since they bought it.
Apparently it left behind the shortcut, is it on the desktop or buried in Start menu, or both?

If on desktop, just right click on it & choose "delete"
If in start menu, right click "Start", choose
explore.
This will open explorer at the start menu, work your way to where the shortcut is by following the same path used to run the shortcut.
Once you've found it, right-click on it & delete.
