I am having a new problem in NT4.0. I recently tried to upgrade the graphics card in several NT4.0 workstations. I have done this many times in the past with no major problems. After installing the new card in the machine, I start NT and toggle the space bar to start in VGA mode. I then install the driver for the new card and restart. No matter what I do, I can't get a new driver to load properly. The graphics settings panel opens and I get an error message saying the driver didn't load. This is happening with cards/driver combinations that I know have worked fine with NT in the past. Has any body else been having this problem. Is SP5 causing this. When I change the card back to the one that came out, everything works ok without reloading the old driver. I am guessing but it seems like I am getting interference from the old driver. I never used to have this problem and am now having it with two different machines. Please help

Well, If yopu are using an old video card on a P2 sys, sometimes it wont work, also if you are using a new PCi card on a SIS or VIA chipset workstation they usually dont work either. MS has even documented this as a compatibility issue.
