I have a TX-Pro motherboard with 1Mb Cache, and a built in SB16 Sound card, and wondered, where I can get the upgrade for the Y2K problem. I am running Windows'98, which has the Y2K patch, but the problem is that the bios chip will not roll over to 2000.

Could anyone please help?

You need to go to your motherboar manufacturer's web sight. A TX-Pro sounds like it has an INTEL TX chip set but that doesn't necessarly mean to go to the intel sight. Do you know, or can you determine the manfacturer of the mother board. A good source that will help is:

This page shows how to utilize the BIOS numbers that come up on the BOOT screen to identify the manufacturer of the board.
