I am using Outlook remote connection on Windows 95. Could someone please tell me why it tells me it's retrieving 200+ messages when all it may pull down is 3 or 4 from the server? I clean my mailbox out as e-mail is read; either saving to personal folders or deleting.

If you specify to leave a copy of the email on the server.. then each time You log in.. it will try to pull them all down.. because you deleted your emails in your ibx extension (mailbox) or pst. therefore it pulls down unread msgs.. all 200+

Thanks for the response. Somehow I got this in the system twice. Sorry about that.

I figured out the problem after playing around with it for an hour or so. The folders needed to be synchronized.
