Um...I may be in the total minority here, but I really am not having much fun playing the MOHPA demo. With all the hoopla over the nonscripted AI, the Banzai Solders are really dumb to charge me with a tommygun in hand, let alone when I am in the machine gun nest.

The spacing of jungle obstructions is more frustrating for me than challenging. That, and manning the AA gun was really annoying since it is so difficult to differentiate between zeros and our planes. I know this is more realistic, but I guess I just found it less fun.

I really don't need my squad to tell me "great shot Tommy" every time I plunk a bad guy either. Lets stop acting like it's a football game and start behaving like we are at war. The squad interface is ok, I guess. I think a system similar to Freedom Fighters would have been all that much better.

For as long as it has been in development, I guess I expected something more.

It's nto ba, but it's not great. It feels very much "on rails" and the reliance on scripted sequences and linear AI behaviour is ridculous. Then again, if Doom III can do it and sell a gazillion copies, why not this?

D3's game play and story are not all that, but the engine is impressive.

So far, the graphics implementation of PS2.0 I have seen on MOHPA hasn't been all that revolutionary. That coupled with the choppy play to me spells trouble.

It's funny how EA raves that the AI is dynamic, but the limitations they place on the physical game space limits the desicions the supposedly advanced AI can make.
