What do you people in the know think about SOYO. The place I get my stuff from sells only these and I have had two in the past with no real problems. Not many other places seem to sell them though, why is this?

Am I missing something?

I'm not a big mobo man, but I listen to what others say and gauge from them. For example, Anand rates Soyo boards rather highly, so I would believe they are a good mobo maker.

You yourself have pointed out that you have had success with these boards, so it seems they're fine. Most likely the lack of availability is due to advertising or purchase requirements from wholesalers. There are many many reasons why a good product has a low visibility and the above are just two.

I think they are very good. I have four and recomend them. I don't know about your area but lots of vendos on the internet sell them. Very easy to find.

Soyo BX Boards are very good. Extremely stable, well built & documented, good tech support. Nicely overclockable with "Soft-Menu". I am running their SY-6BB (AT Format) right now with a 300a @464mhz @ 2volts. Much more stable than my Abit BH6 and my BX6 rev2.
The only thing against them in the past was the lack of voltage setting capabilities. That has been cured with their great new board...the "6BA+III".
