I am using Outlook remote connection on Windows 95. Could someone please tell me why it tells me it's retrieving 200+ messages when all it may pull down is 3 or 4 from the server? I clean my mailbox out as e-mail is read; either saving to personal folders or deleting.

Do you have it pulling down newsgroup subscription content? That'll give you that problem in a heartbeat.

No, just e-mail messages. I also deleted them from the deleted items so they are not showing anywhere.
