Have motherboard with 586S4P54C as only markings. Mfg. listed as J-Square on this site but note says that this may not be correct. I am trying to find casche memory chips for it. It is a Socket 5 Pentium based board. The casche is the older DIP style. I want the number or type and speed if possible. Thanks for a great resource!!

Well, since it is an electronic piece of equipment there has to be a FCC ID number on it somewhere. With that number you can goto www.fcc.gov and track it. That is how I figure out generic video card manufacturers and generic modem manufacturers.

I can find NO FCC ID number anywhere on the board.

Underneath each Casche RAM socket is printed:

32K/128 X8 - each socket has 2 rows of 16 pins

The FCC site does not recognize either
586S4P54C OR THE OTHER NUMBER ON THE BACK WHICH IS P54CIP -1 -1. Some databases list this as a DIGI board but it is not the one listed because mine has no "onboard" serial, parallel or IDE controllers. The chipset is SiS and the bios is Award 1995.
The serial number on the bios is 032306461 V and states that it is for ISA/PCI 586.

I hope this helps someone to help me.
