Win98, AMD k6 300, 80 MB ram:
After my computer runs for a while(several hours) doing various home tasks, it gets slower and slower. The mouse begins to get jumpy, too. My system resources drops down to the low 50% mark. I can restart the computer and all is well for a few hours again.

Think this is normal Windows memory leakage. Have heard of this often. Mine is W95, K6-450, 128mb. Have been online a few hours, mostly idle, no other usage since cold start.
Resources are at 67%. Have had it slow down to the point of uselessness. Have also had mouse "jumpiness" Restart Windows, all OK.
Wonderful, efficient, windows...

I thought it was also normal, until I plugged in my P3, I can run straight thru days and days, playing Q2, going in standby, browsing internet, playing mp3's and watching mpegs and burning cd's without even a reboot and no slowdowns!

I could never dream to make it a whole day with my P2 or my Celeron.

Maybe it's not really a software issue?...No?
