After watching the project grow...sadly they have been ordered to call it quits after Square Enix Co. presented the team with a Cease and Disist letter last week :(

If you watch the trailer and listen to the music....it REALLY does the original game justice. I can only hope that Square wisens up and HIRES these guys.

Given that one of the programmers worked on some facial modeling for Agent Smith and Neo in the Matrix series......hats off to these guys for creating a quality trailer...I would have liked to see the demo they were going for.

It was going to be a demo...so just part of the game, but playable.

That flat out stated they didn't have the resources to make an entire remake unless Square backed them...which obviously isn't going to happen.

watching that demo depresses me. I wonder if square-enix has any forums are anything i can complain to, i mean i will bet money that game would rake in millions...:confused:

Time better spent besides complaining is telling Squaresoft how much you'd like a game like that and that you'd love to buy it.

I really love sqaresoft. And I'm not sure if I like square enix or not. I really havn't seen much of their work. I understand that they are in part the same company or whatever but that game really could have made me a sqare enix fan. And I definitly would have bought it and so would have all my friends. They are making a big mistake, but that website said indefinitly.
