CS/CZ Game and CD Key off Ebay

i was looking on ebay and saw condition zero selling for 12 or 13 bucks. it stated that it had an unregistered cd-key that would work. my question is, is it even worth it? is the beta gonna end soon? and i know you have to be careful on ebay, but assuming you got a legit seller, can this work for getting CS:S? has anyone done this, heard anything? thanks.

first off cs cz isnt that great, i have it, im a big cs fan and im in a clan but cs is alot better then cz at least i think that and all the other guys i know

u need steam when u wanna play cs cz and u need an account

i bet the guy who is selling the game has an account with that cd key

lets say ur doing a new account now and enter that cd key
it wont work, u cant enter a cd key which has already been used, steam will say that this cd key is already been used so i dont think it will work

maybe he deleted his account if that works but . . . i wudnt risk it

well, i have steam with a valid account. and i wouldnt be buying it for CZ, i would want to play CS:S. but i dont know if they are ending the beta soon or what, so i dont know if its worth it.

i wudnt buy cs cz just caus of the beta, u cant play the beta anyways, well u can but its really really laggy on EVERY server and its only dust and it gets boring

hl2 is comming out in a month or so (i hope.....) so i wud just wait

ok u have an account but u still need to enter that cd key and like i said IF he used the cd key for HIS account it wont work . . .
first u need to enter the cd key and then u can install the game so u cudnt play cs s anyways

but like i said i wudnt buy it just for cs s beta, if u like csz and u wanna play it go ahead but buy a game u wudnt play only for a beta . . .
