Most LX boards that I've had experience with won't go above the 75mhz fsb, so PIIs higher than 333 are most likely out of the question.

However, since celerons only use the 66mhz fsb, you should be able to run any of them. In fact, theres a new celeron 500 (7.5*66) being released soon, so thats a definate option.

But my opinion of LX boards is that they blow goats. My suggestion would be to get a new motherboard w/ BX chipset, get a celeron 300a or 333a (if you can find them) and O\C it accordingly. If you don't want to O\C, then try a P2 333 or one of the faster celerons. Make sure you get new PC100 SDRAM if you want a P2 or are going to overclock.

If you posted more info on your comp, it would help my compatriots and I here help you with your upgrade. Also, what are you using this comp for? Business? Gaming? etc.
