Exclamation point in W95 control panel system properties

I have experienced a problem while trying to install a sound card in a corporate network system.The SB16 CT2230 has an I/O conflict with the Token Ring configuration on the network, they both utilize a "220" address.
I manually changed the configurations in system properties for the SB16; IQ and I/O addresses. Now, whenever I view the specific devices in the system properties, the icons for the devices has a white circle with a blue exclamation point inside the circle over each icon. Can anyone tell me what that symbol means.

Static resource as opposed to dynamic. That means you forced it there intead of plug~n~pray. Not a problem, you just don't have that resource in your plug~n~pray resource pool any more.
