Quake 3 and Diamond Stealth

I'm trying to get Q3 to work on my Stealth II S220, so I can play some lan games but no matter what drivers I try nothing works. When I do install the V2x00 drivers all builds I get a "Windows Protection Error, Please restart your computer" or something very close to that. I personally am disappointed with Diamond's support for this card. I've had nothing but good luck with this card till now. I'm using Bios 1.36 if that makes a difference.

Try reverting back to the 1.35 WHQL certified BIOS and the 1.04 WHQL certified drivers and see what happens. Could just be the drivers or the bios.

At least the two revisions above have been certified for compatibility and stability.

Try it, can't hurt too much ;-)

thanks, I'll try changing the bios back. I am really starting to dislike this board.

don't want to confuse anybody, this board is great, lots of information. The board that I'm starting to hate is the Stealth II S220
