I have a problem copying my Tomb Raider III disk. I have managed it before but it got seriously scratched. Now when I try to use the copied disk it tells me to insert the disk. I know it is copiable because I have done it before but since then I changed my CD Rom and upgraded my Adaptec software. Is this the reason for not copying the serial number?
Please advise, cheers.

When you started your "burn" with Adaptec's CD Cretor, did you remember to change the default serial number of the new CD to whatever was on the original?

I am using the copy disk program so it should do everything automatically. If you use CD creator it tells you that the disk only has so much info on it. If you try and copy this disk, using diskcopy then it tells you you need an 80min CD. In creator it only shows around 600Mb of data. What does it copy that it doesn't show you?

ive seen eidos do this before...when tryed and copy Commandos expansion with a blackback 80 min CD-r disc, it choked up partway though..(my friend wasted about 5 blackbacks on this....)...when i physically tryed to copy it to my HD it said it was over 2 gig!!
I think they got thier games very well copy protected.

I've already done it once though!
What goes on, is it the software or hardware upgrades?
