I am trying to install a second hard drive to install Windows NT 4.0 on.

My Configuration:
Win 98 (primary hd)
Amd 350
Asus MB P5a-b, bios 1005

So far, I have installed the 2nd hd as a secondary and my cd-rom as a slave to my primary hd.

After booting up, I get the error "Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter." Also, do I need to set the jumpers on my 2nd hd as a slave? I want to be able to boot from either drive depending on the OS I want.
Any suggestions?

You will need to have the "1st" harddrive set as master on that channel (1st channel) with the cd-rom set as "slave". you can set the "2nd" hard drive as Master or Slave on the 2nd channel. If you want to have Win9x on one harddrive and Nt on the other not a problem...BUT you have to have the 1st harddrive have a FAT16 partition as NT doesnt work with FAT32 partitions...NT comes with a BOOT MANAGER that will install it self on the primary harddrive's FAT16 partion and then you can choose which OS to boot!

Good luck
