Bleeding Edge 06-08-1999, 09:11 AM This is usually done thru the Bios settings or jumpers/switch on the motherboard. I've heard it can't be done on some system boards. If in the Bios, it's a matter finding the setting (it will be obvious) and choosing Disable. If it's jumpers/switch on the motherB you'll have to refer to your computer/board manual or call the manufacturer of either to get the jumper placements. Or search thier web site. You may be able to locate it yourself by looking closely at the identifying marking next to the jumpers or switch. There are usually silk-screened labels directly on the board. AGP is dedicated only to graphics. It's better. PCI has a bandwith of 133MB/sec compared to AGP 2X of 532MB/sec. edit- oops. /second [This message has been edited by Bleeding Edge (edited 06-08-99).] steves 06-08-1999, 10:09 AM Some motherboards attempt to automatically detect an add-on card and disable the on-board video if one is present.
