I just installed a Seagate ST3200822A hard drive into my AMD Athlon 1.2GHz W2K system, and it's only seeing 127Gb. I read through Seagate's page regarding this problem http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/capacity/137/index.html and double checked that I had the appropriate service pack (I have SP4), had LBA enabled already, ran Seagate's DiscWiz for Windows
[url]http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/drivers/discwiz.html
and it's still not seeing the entire disk.

Before I go running around playing with my bios, is there something else I should consider?

Thanks in advance!

The limitation IS the BIOS.

Have you flash updated it yet?

the bios update is first priority, of course.

are you using sp3 or higher? that is the minimum requirement for 48-bit LBA.

If you didn't already, make a slipstreamed win2k sp4 cd then install from that.
