Does anyone know how to change the order in which programs in the Start Up file are loaded?
I want to have my anti-virus application load before my E-mail application.

Why on God's green earth would you want your email to startup automatically?
The more stuff you have starting automatically....the longer it takes.
In my Home PC, I only have my printer driver software, Norton AV and my Sygate firewall starting up with WIndows.
When you specify apps for startup for WIndows, I don't know of any application which allows you to choose which starts first. there might be a registry edit involved.
But...think of this. Even if you could get Email to start after AV, your AV program, once it starts up...needs a minute or so to check for the latest definitions, etc.
What happens if an email sneeks through with the latest virus, and your AV hasn't had time to fully update itself?
You're playing with fire, IMO....
Oh, and by the way...

It is a pointless exercise, one that you will realise in time.

I don't recommend you start your email program automatically. it's a security risk.
if you want to make sure certain things start in order, you'd have to write a login script and put that into your startup folder.
