Sup yet again,
Ok, I finally got a decent site going with a reasonable amount of visitors for the first month.... Was wondering if anyone can make me a flash intro, kind of like - www.rustywallace.com - but for the site - www.FLMotorsports.tk - ... let me know if you could do this for me and I will send you a few pics of cars and trucks I have painted for the game Nascar HEAT that I want worked in...

early thanks:D :D

and what did we all do when we got to ~RustyWallace?

Hit the skip button and then closed the window as it was taking too long to load over BB.

Don't, Don't, Don't have loading pages, intro screens... unless they are absolutely necessary. All these sites with "intro" screens the author thinks is "cool" simply infuriates due to bad design, long load times, irrelevance and the painfully slow access to the information you are after.

I'll repeat that bit. Don't, Don't, Don't do it!

Try this
http://www.swishzone.com/index.php?referrer=fromanfy

This program lets you create professionally looking flash animations with just some mouse clicks.

I have to agree with DocEvi1 on this call. Flash is cool and all, but when I go to a site, I want to be able to find the info I want in as little time as possible - and, it should work with any browser. Ol' Rusty said I needed Internet Explorer (I use FireFox, but it seemed to work OK anyway), and then on top of it I have to sit there and wait for all the menus to pop up. Use straight, plain old reliable HTML and CSS (and possibly Javascript...)!

I'll get off my soapbox now. :t
