The lack of overclocking stuff is a real surprise... The name's a bit poorly chosen too - it'd be easy for someone looking for a good overlocker to hear about an NF7-S v2 and pick up an NF7-S2 instead assuming it was the same board. missiveusa 08-17-2004, 08:08 AM I picked up the board to replace a dead A7N8X. I knew it didn't have Soundstorm like the NF7-S, but the board's real limitation is no RAM setting for CAS 2.0 latency , just 3.0, 2.5. BIOS is extremely limited. I really didn't like the overall performance of the NF7-S2, so I put it in a system that I have for sale (SOLD!) paired with an Athlon XP 2400. Spent the extra $25 for the Asus A7N8X-E Dlx and all is well. For $68 or so, the NF7-S2 is an inexpensive nForce2 board, but you get what you pay for. SysOpt.com
