Hi guys. I have heard from somebody that if you daisy-chain 2 HDD together, the newer(faster) HDD will slow down to meet up with the older(slower) HDD. Is that true? And I've heard that when the newer HDD slows down, it is impossible to reset it back to its original speed, unless you bring it back to the factory and have the HDD reset by the manufacturers. Is that true also? I am using such a configuration now, and I AM experiencing such things. Is it certified, or is it just that the benchmarking wasn't that good at all?
