wierd Graphics core : RV360 on 9600 pro(RV350).possible???????

i've just bought a v.card : 9600 pro---ultra edition(with 500mhz engine speed)
just like 9600 xt

could this card be more then an factory oc 9600pro :a genuine xt???

Perhaps they ran out of overclocked 9600 Pro cores and just started sticking RV360s in them instead... Does it have hardware monitoring for core temps ala XT?

...do you have any other pages besides this one? Its filled with foreign characters, and besides that, the box the product comes in is a "9600 Pro" box.

To me, it seems less like an improved card and more of a marketing ploy.

i see the picture of hardware monitor on the box but v
tuner i found on the cd show me just 2 clocks :core and memory and the possibilyty 4 overclocing .no displays for gpu temperature,fan speed etc guess they run out of this thing also :)

If it says RV360, then it must basically be an XT. They may have left the temperature monitoring chip off the board, but performance wise it should match up to an XT. Benchmark it :t
