Ok so Im thinking of slaping some plexiglass to make a window in my case.. I dont really like teh generic window kits cuz they look so plain. I know the already made cases have cool laser cut designs.. I was wonderin if something simular can be done with a dremel tool?? Is there a rototool style attachment for the dremel taht can make it like a drill press??

I just use patience with mine. :D
There are lots of attachments and I have bought about all of them but I find I use very few.
I, like you, dont like the premade windows, I would rather have a unique shape. I need to post the finished dolphin one in the thread I started about themed windows in this forum.
The Dremel book says not to pull the cutting blades but I find that is what works best. Get the cut down close to where you have made your line on the case and just pull the blade gradually down to and along the line. If you take your time you can get a good curve or whatever with very little trouble

Keep in mind that it will require both patience and some form of artistic ability. If you've never done it before, and especially if you've never used a dremel, start simple and work up to more advanced designs.

If its a steel case you may need several replacement dremmel disks as they can wear out quickly.
I used to use a $5 'nibbler', takes a little getting used to but works like a charm and you don't have to be quite as careful as when you use a dremmel.
