I have the above software combination on an Abit BH6 with Celeron 333, 64MB Ram. The problem is the system cannot do a restart - it shuts down by itself. When the Norton is uninstalled, the system hangs on restart. But, after you power it down completely and cold boot, it would start right. Has anyone seen this and any clues?

It's Norton that's doing it. Edit your autoexec.bat and config.sys and remove anything refering to Norton or NAV. Windows doesn't like the DOS scan that Norton does.
