I own an ASUS P4PE, I have installed on this mother 1 Memory stick of crucial DDR3200, yet I have checked ASUS's web site to find that the board is not meant to support this memory. The board itself should only support 2100 and 2700, im a little confused as I thought that the board would either not start up or have some problems, but I have been running this for months now without any problems at all. Can someone maybe shine some light on this for me? I have attached a picture below for reference.

Obviously it supports PC3200, if there's no problem with it, why try to fix it?

I never said I wanted to fix it, and the board is not "meant" to support it check www.asus.com. what I wanted to know is would this cause any problems. read posting correctly before posting a reply, Obviously it supports PC3200 but it could run at a lower FSP speed, but im not seeing that as I said on my above post.

running a higher rated ram would not cause problems. That's like people that buy DDR500 ram and put it on a 875P board. you would not be straining the motherboard or anything.
The first pic is data from the spd, so the ram is rated at ddr400, but it doesn't mean it's actually running at that speed.
the second pic looks like you are overclocking the system using a 3/4 fsb/mem divider. overclocking is taking a risk, but you're not any worse off than if you had DDR333.

thanks Midknyte, cleard up. I do alot of overclocking, I just got a little bit confused when I was looking at the specs for the mobo.
