network printer

a friend of mine brought a laptop home from work and wants to be able to use his home printer. the laptop is on a domain. is there a way to network the home pc and laptop so that it will print?

Not without probably messing up the settings for the domain connection at work.

Have him check with the sys admin at work or the IT support techs.

They may (really BIG maybe) let him connect by creating a seperate boot up profile without the domain connection.

I agree that he should check with the IT staff at work first.

If it is ok, he may be able to plug the printer in as a local printer to use it - a bit of a pain, but we allow our users to do this.

i advised him to do that. i guess i was hoping that there was an easy to network the two together.:p
