Hello; Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.
I thought I new some things about cmputers, but my brother spent lots of money on a new Compaq with scanner and printer. Then he went back out a bought a Logitec quickcam and then a Hp 7570i cd rw. And man have the questions from him been never ending. You always here people say "aren't computers geart". Well they can also bring to brothers closer together. I've tried to find reviews on this model of cd rw but I've not able to. Maybe it's to new. I have also been reading all the message boards that I can find. I need to let him know if here should keep this one or should he take it back before his no question asked return is up soon. I kind of know that if we get it to work thats all that matters sometimes, but I also know that some brands may be easier then others. We have not got it to work as of today.
1. What do you think about this model and Hp's in general.?
2. Do you know who realy makes this cd rw.
3. It is an Eide, but do you think that here should have gotten a Scsi instead.?
4. Can you help with any sites that have this review and cd rw learning sites.?
I have found these from reading some of the tips here. And by the way the site that I found here called CDfreaks is down for the moment. It said thats because of a violation of the AUP. What that?? Here are the sites I've found here so far.
