I am trying to install a network adaptor on a 486 computer running on Win 95 O.S. The Adapter is a Realtek 8139D. However when I try to install it (using the Add Hardware Program) I find that the only software available on my Win 95 installation disk is for a different card, the Realtex 8019. There is no option for installing the 8139D. The Realtek 8019 does not work and I cannot connect to the internet.

How do I install this adaptor (81329D) correctly with the Win 95 OS.

I think you'll have to get to a computer that has internet access and try to find and download the drivers for that card...:t

Thanks for help. The problem is now solved. Someone suggested the following link which gives a setup program. It delivers the correct driver for the Win 95 OS.
