So I guess summink needs adjusting :-@ Err what tho ????? :t Ohh its a 1978 Vauxhall Carleton 2.0L (USA viewers read GM) Happy Joe 08-06-2004, 08:15 PM The PCV filter is a piece of mesh or plastic felt (usually in the side of the air cleaner that is ment to keep bugs gravel etc from being sucked into the pcv line. (which is connected between the crank case or valve cover and the filter). The pcv valve is connected to the intake manafold (sometimes indirectly, via the throttle body) and sucks fumes frome the crankcase, the replacement air comes throug the filter (via the air cleaner). Afraid I can't help you with the auto tranny - all I do with 'em is pull them out and replace them with 5 speeds. Enjoy j.m@talk 08-06-2004, 08:38 PM ahh yeah I remember those links .......... Never had a changeable filter on tho :( ........... Still its good to know ......... Cheers :t SysOpt.com
