WTF is a PCV Filter ?

Aparently I ain't got one ....... But what is it anyways ? :confused:

Ahh while we are here .............. Trannys (no not guys that wear womens clothes) Auto Trans

D,1,2,R, will not engage at idle :rolleyes: yer up at about 3,500 Rpm then......BASH...... Yer off ...... Then it changes normally :p
Sad old you if ya take your foot off the gas tho ......... Car slows to umm 5/10 Mph ....... Then Reeeeeevvvvvvvv ........BASH....... you have drive again :rolleyes:

The ATF looks ok & no Fish in it ......... So I guess summink needs adjusting :-@

The PCV filter is a piece of mesh or plastic felt (usually in the side of the air cleaner that is ment to keep bugs gravel etc from being sucked into the pcv line. (which is connected between the crank case or valve cover and the filter). The pcv valve is connected to the intake manafold (sometimes indirectly, via the throttle body) and sucks fumes frome the crankcase, the replacement air comes throug the filter (via the air cleaner).
Afraid I can't help you with the auto tranny - all I do with 'em is pull them out and replace them with 5 speeds.
