Q3 Arena 3rd person view...

Is there a way to have 3rd person view (with cross hairs) in Q3 Arena without using a cheat? I'd like it in multiplayer mode. Kind of like when I'm playing Jedi Knight 2 and can go between 1st and 3rd person views at any time by pressing the P key.

When playing hit the ~ key to bring down the console and type:

/cg_thirdperson 1

then hit the enter key
