My fiancee just called to tell me she made $150.00 cash and lunch for sitting in (literally) on an evaluation (2hrs.) of office furniture, testing chairs and giving feedback.
Not bad for sitting on your backside $75.00 per hr.
Don't know if the company is local or national, but called, "Accurate Data Marketing, Inc." I'm in northern Ill.
(also, if this is in conflict with the forum, I'll delete the company name)
Normally, I would avoid this kind of thing...
Although, I did sit in on a preview/evaluation for "Die Hard"
years back and they gave me like 10 free movie passes of my choice.
Anyway, she signed me up for the next evaluation

There has to be some kind of catch... She probably has to write something up for each chair she tests or somethin.

Yes, she did have some paper work to fill in...the evaluation, but that's a catch I could live with ;)
Bigjakkstaffa...thank for the alterations...not a word I would think to be banded, if anything, I would have thought you'd remove the company name??? :p ...wasn't thinking about the tongue thing here...no offence meant

The marketing company is not one I have heard of. I work for a multi-national furniture company. All of our chairs are designed by engineers for comfort, egronomics, and functionality. It would not surprise me that the testing goes on. You would not want to release a new chair without first knowing if people like it. If you do not use 3rd party opinions the results would be skewed by employees and not a reliable when moving into the marketing stages for the new product.

I never asked her what she thought of the chairs...actually, I'd might like something more comfortable for the computer/office...this 1 is hard on the back...but not the backside :D
rraehal...any recom. :t

I wouldn't have much to recommend. The furinture we make is designed for office use and purchases in large quantities. The cahir I sit in retails for $1100.00 (American) and when ordered in quantity can be had for around $600.
Just gotta try em out and get what fits you. My chair is called an Aeron. We also just released the Mirra chair. Both are pretty awesome but expensive.
