Skipped pages when printing

We use continuous forms with a P133 with an Epson AP5000+ dot matrix with a tractor feed. Since installing Win 98, every other page is blank on most printing jobs, but not all. Most Web pages and WordPerfect documents will have skipped pages, but a few do not. I have been unable to find the characteristics of the skipped and nonskipped page jobs.
