Which MMORPG should I play?

I have just recently finished my trial version of Star Wars Galaxies. It was a really great game. I didn't get as far as I'd hoped, but it sounds like the possibilities were endless as of what could be done.

That was the first mmorpg that I have ever played. I would like to buy and play an mmorpg, but I am unsure if that is the one for me. I enjoy medeval/fantasy games, but I also enjoy the Star Wars universe. Is SQG the best out there, or are other such as Camelot or lineage 2 as good. What are most people playing? Which has the best gameplay and least bugs.

Let me know what you have played and what you liked and disliked.

I have an AMD 1Ghz with 500Mb of ram. I use cable internet and have an ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO video card.

I had the 14 day trial of SWG to and i hated it. I play "Lineage ][" and will for a long time. I love this game.

Hmmm... decisions, decisions...

Apart from a few limitations due mainly to your computer (1GHz just ain't much these days...), your biggest stumbling block really depends on you.

Are you a crafter sort of player? Are you looking for a first-person view sort of game (like SWG), or are you open to other options there? Is solo-play ability a big need for you?

Off-hand, if you want low-bug games, you're looking for older games, things like Ultima Online and Everquest... but look around, there's free trials for other games out there too.

One thing... I'm playing Horizons right now, and I know it's got a free trial... but it's got more than its share of bugs, and might bring your machine to its knees...

I can only comment of the following....

Horizons - the crafters dream game. New and a bit buggy yet. Playable dragons also (that fly).

EverQuest - virtual crack and will consume your soul.

Ultime Online - tried and true game with pathetic graphics but very strong gameplay. May be the best skill system of any MMOG.

Dark age of Camelot - Basic leveling treadmill with player vs player combat as the end game. Fun stuff.

Lineage ][ - great graphics, it's a newer game but fun. I am currently playing it because I love the idea of open PVP with consequences.

Games to watch...

World of Warcraft - coming soon but graphics look goofy to me.

Everquest 2 - new and improved soul consuming crack.

Guild Wars - NO MONTHLY FEE! This one is going to be a bit different than all MMOG's before it. Read up on it.

You will love City Of heros be your own super hero,and you system can run it no problem

Im waiting on World of Warcraft and Everquest 2 personally. Will try WoW if it comes out considerably before EQ2, but definately will be playing EQ2.
