I've seen the release date for this game changed MANY times. Bottom line is, until we get OFFICIAL word from VALVE, all other reported dates is speculation as far as im concerned.

notice that they spell out release date subject to change...thats pretty vague and covers their rear end...

Yea it does sound like a good deal,
Every body needs to cover their rears, :p especialy if you have big one. :p Yea I get the picture. We cant be too sure about it. But I am willing to bet that they would release this with DOOMIII for a couple of days after that, Thats when then can really catch the market share.
I too am looking forward to this game more than anything else.

id agree bob, think its going to be santa time when it comes out, I did download steam and I have it on my comp now along with preloaded HL2 which only took 3 hours not so bad, I gave in, I said i wasnt going to get it but hey what typ of a gamer would I be if I didnt get it :)
