I’m wondering if this can be done and if so – HOW?

My office has 20 computers sharing the buildings T1 line.
Each machine has its own static IP.
No real network so to speak except for the print server.

When the Big Boss comes in from out of state he gets to use a spare office that the building rents out. This office ONLY has dialup. The office is basically 10 to 20 feet from the nearest pc in my office.

Am wondering how to work a wireless connection to this spare office. I can yank one of the IP lines away from any one of several pc’s for the time the Boss is town.

I just can’t quite get it my head how to go about this. Would I need a second NIC in one of the pc’s going out to a wireless router?

Thoughts and suggestions????

you could get an ethernet bridge and set up an adhoc network to the laptop. I'm guessing that the laptop already has a wireless nic in it. you could just disconnect the nearest pc and plug the ethernet cable into the wifi bridge.
