power supply

Is this a typical senario for a bad powersupply? Im gaming away, enjoying my newly purchased viper770. All of a sudden, the pc goes dead, Kaput! The monitor is ok, the pc has absoultely no power to it at all. I took case cover off, felt the viper, not hot at all. Noticed dust on the fan blades of my three fans so i blew all the crud out and let the machine cool. Plugged it back in, and nothing.

Got it fixed, yes it was the power supply. Called my friend, met him at his shop, bought it, put it in and im back in bizz. Thats a good friend now. Memorial day weekend, goes out of his way to help. so thanx anyway. Remember, dont drink and drive.
