Hi All,

I'm trying to help out a friend who wants to scan a document to the computer and then be able to edit the text in Word. He is running windows 98 and office 97. Apparently he has accomplished this in the past (distant past :) ) but cannot remember how. It was my thought that some type of 3rd party OCR software would be necessary, but from the sounds of it, he wasn't using any 3rd party software in the past...would this be possible? If so or not, any advice would be appreciated. :)
