WIN98 Viewing as webpage problem?

Yes you know that option where you can view stuff as a webpage. Well when i select that option nothing happens a check mar should appear but nothing happens. Isn't when that option is select and working properly a picture window will appear to your left. Heres an example when the webpage option is selected and you highlight lets say a picture you will be shown a preview of what that picture is. Well i don't even get that window and nada happens. Please inform me of the problem.

yea I dont get that window either... because I dont know what the hell ur talking about.

unless your talking about thumbnail views...which allows you to view.. the files in a thumbnail view on the bottom left corner of the windows...

To enable that right click on the folder not file.. and click properties then put a check mark next to enable thumbnail view

no im referring to you know when you go to my computer or explorer not internet explorer but you know that folder with that magnifying glass then that. Well when you go to the viw option its say toolbars,status bars,explorer bar then as webpage. Well when you select that it is suppose to have a check by it and when it is working correctly on the left hand side of screen will appear a picture say something about viewing as webpage or something like that. But when i do it nothing happens.
