When my computer starts up I get this error, "The Creative Sound Blaster PCI128 driver cannot load MIDI Waveset. MIDI playback has been disabled". Any ideas on how to get MIDI playback working. I got this error when I installed the new driver.

You probably tried this already but I'll mention it anyhow.
1. Make sure you have the latest drivers downloaded and available for installation.
2. Have DirectX6.1 installed properly.
3. Remove the sound card and all its components (gameport, midi, etc.) from within Device Manager.
4. Shutdown the system and move the card to another PCI slot. Away from the AGP slot if there is one.
5. Power the system up.
6. Go thru the process of installing the latest drivers.
If there is a Bios upgrade for this card and/or for your motherboard, you may want to try that also. Wait on that and try the above first. Some else may have another idea.
