I used fdisk to delete a partition - Now I lost 700 mb of disk space - how can I get it back ? I'm afraid to delete this partition

I'm afraid to delete this partition in case I lose more space. Bleeding Edge 05-25-1999, 11:24 PM When you delete a partition, that's exactly what happens. The partition gets deleted. That part of the disk isn't recognized by the system OS anymore. The 700MB will be there after you recreate the extended and logical drive with Fdisk. If, what your trying to do, is a clean install of an OS; and the drive previously had multiple partitions, delete all logical, extended drives. Delete the primary drive. Then recreate the primary partition and set it to use the entire available space. You must then format the drive. SysOpt.com
