window pops up on startup

I know it's not a big deal...but it's annoying. A my computer window pops up on start up. There's nothing in my start up folder like that. How can I stop this windows shinanigans?

seti ~ have you tried using the System Configuration Utility (Win98) to help configure/troubleshoot the startup environment? This will give you the real startup lines.

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information/Tools/System Configuration Utility

uh, ha, I've never even head of that. I ended up formating my disk and re-installing everything...I was going to do that anyway. It was getting messy and slow. Thanks.
