When my computer sits idle for 10 minutes or more, my monitor shuts down. When I use the mouse or press a key, the screen turns blue and I get an error message : create crtc open subkey default fail
I then have to reboot the computer. I need help

go into your bios and turn off all power management stuff and then go to control panel if your running win9x and turn off any power management there.post if that doesnt fix it.
