Hey guys.

I've been wanting to use a motherboard tray I made out of plexiglass for my case I also made, it's all plastic/non-conductive material....but I'm having a hard time finding a reliable means of getting the mobo snug on the tray. I don't have any spare stand-off from old builds and I was wondering if anyone had a really simple/secure way of keeping it on there.

Go to the local computer shop and buy them. If they're nice enough they might even just given them to you.

If thats not an option, go to the hardware store and buy some sort of plastic tubbing, long enough screws, and a tap for the screws you bought. Cut the tubing to length for use as your stand offs. You'll want the ID to clear the thread on the screws. Drill and tap the holes you need in the tray. Install the whole fiasco.

It would be cheaper, faster, and easier to just buy the standoffs at the computer store.
