Mac,
If you are running Win98...just install the TweakUI program found on your CD under "powertoys" and right click and pick install from the TweakUI.INF file...It will install the program and you access it from your control panel...it will allow you to pick the boot delay and wether or not you have a "splash" screen and many other nice "tweaks" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

1. Change the attributes for MSDOS.SYS so it's not 'Read Only'; MSDOS.SYS is in the root directory of your C:\ drive.
Open the file using Notepad or another text editor (not Microsoft Word or any word processor).
2. Change the value of 'Logo=' to 'Logo=1' for splash screen enabled or 'Logo=0' for disabled.
3. Changes will take place on the next reboot.
TweakUI, found in \tools\reskit\powertoy on the win95/98 CD-Rom, has the feature to turn the splash screen on and off. It has a many system options. Give it a try by right clicking on the file and choosing to install.
