The chips will require 1.6V Vcore support from the mainboard and are likely to be compatible with existing infrastructure for AMD Athlon XP products. Sounds like these should work with existing chipsets, since I doubt anyone's going to make any new chipsets for Socket A. I wonder how many board makers will release BIOS updates for these, and how much of their product lines will be affected. SysOpt.com
