I just replaced a d-link 604 router with a d-link 514 wireless router. Since I replaced it, nobody has been able to access my server which is bulletproof v2.21. My server is using private port 22 and public port 21. I made sure that this was set in the router using both tcp and udp. I made sure my windows xp firewall was off, my routers firewall was off and even another firewall program i had running i shut off. I am using a dns service on the net so i would not have to give my ip out but even trying to access the server with my ip is not possible. I even tried enabling dmz on router config page and still cannot access server. Server main directory is on a networked computer running windows 2000 that has no firewalls either and as i said it always worked with the first router. I have reset the router and tried different ports and made sure there is no filters running etc, and have the most updated firmware for it as well but nothing seems to work. I am totally baffled by this one and if anybody know what can be done plzzzzzzzzz let me know!!
