Helping a co-worker get a wireless router going with his DSL.

His DSL connection is an older SW Bell USB connection.

The line from the wall RJ-11 connects to a "sting ray" looking modem , which then connects to a USB port in the system.

That system has a NIC installed , which I've connected the wireless router to.

THe second system is communicating with the wireless router.

There isn't a RJ-45 connection on the DSL modem.

Windows XP on both systems.

How do I get the USB connected system to "link" with the NIC that is connected to the wireless router and get DSL to the second wireless system ???

My advice to him was to call SBC and get some updated equipment that uses RJ-45 connections.

You better off to get an External Ethernet DSL Modem.

Link: DSL Modems Direct to you. (http://www.dslmodemsdirect.com)

You can find a regular Cable/DSL Router for less than $20 on sale
