What are acceptable timings? Is this any good? The only thing I can find googling is a bunch of high tech talk I don't quite get.

Good luck! LPTECH RamonGTP 07-20-2004, 12:05 AM Yep, doesn't get much better than that. If this is an AMD machine on an nForce2 chipset, might want to change your Tras timing to 11. I actualy got better performance at 11 than anything lower (or higher) BadDriver 07-20-2004, 12:11 AM Yeah, a 2400+ clocked to a 2600+. I just decided today I was going to tweak a little and stay in the reaches of stock cooling. I had a volcano 11+ on this thing and the noise drove me to distraction so I put a stock cooler back on it. Temps are acceptable at 45 idle and about 51 after a good gaming session. I'd like cooler but I am not going to listen to this thing sounding like a jet anymore. You say try 11? I'll give it a whirl. The page I found those timings on said you needed good ram to pull it off. I am running a gig but it is only 2700. I wish it were 3200 but it seems to be handling the settings. SysOpt.com
